Question 1

How much does Sofwave cost?

Accepted Answer

Sofwave treatments and packages at Splendid Skin start at $750. Pricing varies based on treatment area and your specific goals, which your provider will outline during your consultation.

Question 2

How many Sofwave treatments will I need?

Accepted Answer

Most clients see significant results from just one session. Your provider may recommend additional sessions based on your skin condition and goals, which will be discussed during your consultation.

Question 3

Does Sofwave hurt?

Accepted Answer

No. Most clients describe the sensation as mild warmth or tingling during treatment — well tolerated without numbing cream.

Question 4

Is there any downtime after Sofwave?

Accepted Answer

None. Sofwave is completely non-invasive with no needles or incisions. You can return to your normal routine immediately after treatment.

Question 5

When will I see results, and how long do they last?

Accepted Answer

Results build gradually as your body produces new collagen, with full results typically visible within a few months. Improvement in the treatment area can last well over a year.

Question 6

Who performs Sofwave treatments at Splendid Skin?

Accepted Answer

Sofwave treatments are led by Jennifer Golin, RN, owner and lead injector at Splendid Skin, with every member of our provider team trained in Sofwave technique.

Question 7

Is Sofwave right for me?

Accepted Answer

Sofwave may be a good option if you're noticing early-to-moderate skin laxity and want a non-surgical, needle-free way to tighten and tone. Candidacy varies person to person, which is why every Sofwave treatment starts with an in-person consultation.

Question 8

What areas can Sofwave treat?

Accepted Answer

Sofwave is FDA-cleared to lift the eyebrow, tighten lax skin under the chin and along the neck, improve the appearance of acne scarring, and treat upper arm skin laxity.

Question 9

How should I prepare for my Sofwave appointment?

Accepted Answer

Stay well hydrated and avoid active skincare ingredients such as retinoids and exfoliating acids for three days prior to your treatment.
